New Children’s Worship Bags:  Find Children’s Worship Bags hanging on the stand in the Narthex.  Each child may have one for worship, but please replace them with their supplies on the stand before going home for the day.  Each Sunday will include a new Children’s Bulletin, craft supplies, and    sometimes a surprise!

Sunday School Classes: All adults are invited to meet in the Youth Suite, beginning at 9:30, each Sunday through the Fall,  as Rev. Nan Adams leads us in discussions on Racism and Other      Cultural Issues Facing the Church Today.

Children and Youth Sunday School Classes: Pre and Early Readers Class:  (Ages 3 to 6 year old's)  Teachers are Dale Sailors and Marty French. They will use Cokesbury’s "Deep Blue" curriculum and meet in the Nursery Toddler room. Elementary Readers Class: (Ages 7 and above) Teachers are    Carolyn Preston and Suzi Kelley.  They will use the "Deep Blue" curriculum, too, and meet in room 105. Youth Class:  Sarah Gay Edwards teaches this extraordinary group of young people and meets in the left-hand side of the Youth Suite.

Ladies Monday Morning Bible Study: will begin our lessons on Monday, September 18, at 9:30 a.m. in the church library.  We will be studying “Covenant:  God’s Enduring Promises” by Kay Arthur.

Diapers For Hurricane Victims: The Mission Team will be collecting Diapers for Hurricane Victims.  Please bring diapers to the Narthex and/or checks payable to Memorial indicating for Diaper Project.

WPW Bible Study Books: are available in the Narthex.  Please take a copy and sign the list.  The payment of $10 can be made at the next circle meeting.

Mississippi State Singers — October 5, THURSDAY (Instead of Wednesday!). NO Wednesday Night Supper on October 4 but join us for Fried Chicken and fixins’ at 5:00 pm in the Youth Suite.  The concert will be at 6:00 pm in the Sanctuary.  Then we will serve the Singers supper after the concert.

FLU Shots: Rite Aide will do flu shots from 10 to 11 am on October 8.  Paperwork that needs to be filled out is on the Narthex table and needs to be turned into office by October 1. Rite aide will pick them up and register them the week before flu shots are given.  PLEASE do whatever you need to do to advertise and get paperwork returned by October 1.

Blessing of the Animals — October 8, Sunday, 4:00 pm

October Third Sunday Presbyterian Lunch: The Third Sunday Presbyterian Meal is October 15 and will feature Shrimp Creole Pensacola Style, French Bread by Chef Melanie, Rice, Fresh Garden Salad and Apple Dessert. Normal costs apply: $6 per adult; Under age 11, $3; Under age 5, Free, with a maximum of $20.00 per family.

Prayer Concerns: We have a prayer concern bulletin that is published weekly and sent by email to all who wish to receive it.  Printed copies can also be found on the table in the Narthex.  If you would like to be added to the Prayer Sheet email list or have a concern/joy you would like to be added to the Prayer Sheet, email it to , or contact the Church Office at 274-1018.  Thank you. 

Requests for Sanctuary Flowers: If you would like to order an arrangement Suzi Kelley will need your billing address, phone number, the message you want in the bulletin, special  requests for type of flowers (if any), and instructions on what you would like done with the  flowers after the service (take them home, leave them at the church, or have them delivered to a specific shut-in, nursing home or other facility). Currently  September 17th, and October 15th, are available.  The cost is $57.75 per arrangement and the florist will  bill you directly for the arrangement.  You can reach Suzi at
