Welcome, Visitors and Guests! We are delighted that you have chosen to worship with us this morning.  If you would like information about Memorial’s and Westminster’s programs and projects or about becoming a member of the congregations, please speak to our minister, Nan Adams, call the church office at (334) 274-1018, or visit our website at www.memorialpres.net.

Prayer Concerns: We have a prayer concern bulletin that is published weekly and sent by email to all who wish to receive it.  Printed copies can also be found on the table in the Narthex.  If you would like to be added to the Prayer Sheet email list or have a concern/joy you would like to be added to the Prayer Sheet, please email it to , or contact the Church Office at 274-1018.

Memorial Town Hall Meeting, TODAY during the Third Sunday Lunch:  We kindly ask our Westminster folk and our guests to eat in the Youth Room while we discuss merger issues.

Wednesday Night Dinner/Program:   When Helping Hurts by Steve Corbett and Brian Fikkert, is our  on-line, video-based study that also uses a Small Group Book to facilitate our learning.  Study books will be provided or you can purchase your own Kindle edition at Amazon for $6.99.  Make sure you purchase When Helping Hurts: The Small Group Experience: An Online Video-Based Study on Alleviating Poverty.  This is an important step as we merge our two congregation’s identities.  It’s vitally important to discuss how we’ll go about tending to the heart of ministry — our outreach of service to others.  Please prayerfully consider joining with us in our discussion.  If you are unable to attend on Wednesday nights, please speak to Nan about forming another group to meet at another time during the week.   Supper Menu: Hamburger Stroganoff  with Noodles, Green Salad,  Melanie’s Bread and Ice Cream Dessert.

Please note that we will begin serving dinner at 5:00 p.m. instead of 5:15 p.m.  The cost of the adult meal changes to $6.00 per person, but the other costs remain the same - Under age 11, $3;  Under age 5, Free, with a maximum of $20.00 per family.

Sunday School Classes: Fall Classes begin today and there are four Adult Classes: 1. The Life and Teachings of Jesus taught by Bette Lewis will meet in the Session Room. 2.
